National cryptologic museum

On Pam's and Susan's last day here with us, we took them out to try one of our favorite places to eat, Mission BBQ. They enjoyed it as much as we did. Between the atmosphere, the decor, food, and overall feel and meaning of the place, you couldn't do much better. The food was delicious. They had a few new items on their menu that we tried and may be our new favorites.

After lunch, we took them over to the National Cryptologic Museum to look around. Jeff and I have never been before, so we were just as excited to check it out as they were. I have to say that I didn't know exactly what to expect going there, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much information there was to offer and how much I learned there. We were there for a couple of hours before we had to go back and pick Maddie up from the bus stop.

Here are a few pictures from the museum. If you ever get a chance to, you should check it out.

The instrument John Nash created
He just makes me feel inadequate for what he can do. It was amazing to read about him.

They had these cool activities for kids to do and if they completed them, they got a prize.

Here's a close up of what it said:

Crazy!

Once Maddie got home, she read the ladies a story and we said our goodbyes as they continued on their journey up the coast. We had a lot of fun with them and hope to see them soon.

Until next time.. Have fun, be safe, and enjoy life.
